Synopsis

Marnie has a new name and a bag with holes in it. In Dunmore, nobody knows she is the girl who left Ellis Ward bleeding on the sea wall. Nobody knows her aunt took his family's side. Nobody knows the three people from Pellon still want her back. Then Juno Hart finds her at a bus stop with blood on her sleeve. Juno gives her a couch, a job at the roller rink, and the name Sadie. Juno also keeps three dangerous men close: her brother Ronan, his friend Toby, and Cassian, who watches Marnie like he already knows every lie she has told. Marnie is not safe. Her old life is still looking. Her new friend is hiding a violent secret of her own. And Cassian is the one person who does not look away. Will he keep her secret when the truth comes for her? Or will he be the one who hands her back?
