The Scarred Alpha's Bargain

Bastian waits in silence, arms loose at his sides.

He didn't fill the silence. He just stood there with that scarred face and waited.

Bastian

Say it plain. I'll know if you're lying.

Synopsis

Tamsin's fated mate rejects her at the market and chooses her sister instead. Her father barely blinks. That night, he tells her she will marry Alpha Bastian Vey, a scarred wolf everyone fears, to save her sick brother. Tamsin expects a monster. Bastian's hall is cold, his family is cruel, and his Beta watches her like a spy. Then Bastian asks what she wants. No one has ever asked her that. When Bastian learns their mothers died in the same raid, he gives Tamsin a place beside him. At the pack assembly, he names her his partner before everyone and says her grief is his.
