The Alpha's Shamed Mate

Two riders come up the lamp-lit causeway, a broad-shouldered man in a black coat and a copper-haired woman in green.

Hooves rang on the causeway stones.

Torren came first in his black coat. Verity rode beside him, copper hair bright, and looked at Linnea the way a woman looks at a stain.

Synopsis

“I would rather be alone than mated to you,” Torren says, and the pack laughs. Linnea has spent her life as Frostmere’s shame. She cannot shift. Her family calls her a burden. When the Alpha’s son is named her mate, he rejects her in front of the whole pack and chooses Verity, the rival who wants her gone. Linnea stays. She will not vanish. But the Alpha house is cold, the pack turns on her, and the one friend she trusts may not be safe. A hidden mark on her wrist hints the pack has lied about who she is. Can Linnea survive their judgment and make the Alpha feel what he threw away?
