Synopsis

At the Dunley Conservatory, everyone treats Benedict Roe like the help. Alfred sneers at him. Veronica says he is a stain. Only Marielle defends her husband and chooses him again and again. Benedict never corrects them. He carries trays and fixes lights and hides his real name. He is the only heir to Ashford Capital, and one word from him could buy the Dunleys ten times over. When the family pushes Marielle too far, Benedict steps out of the shadows. The Dunleys will bow to Marielle, and they will fear the quiet husband they mocked. But Marielle still does not know who he really is.
