Luna's Fire

Kerrick speaks the rejection coldly as Riona takes it with her chin down.

Synopsis

I’ve spent my whole life in the Wickford Pack being told I’m the wolfless one. My mother makes me drink bitter tea, my sister Selba makes me serve her friends, and the pack looks through me like I’m furniture. I mend their oldest laws by day and train in secret at night. I know I’m not empty. There is old royal blood in my veins, and my wolf is done being buried. When my fire finally breaks loose, every person who called me shame will have to watch. The Alpha’s heir is watching too, and his family wants me safe. But my old family wants me back under their roof, and the mate bond I was promised is one more thing that could save me or break me. I won’t hide again. Not for them. Not for anyone.
