Synopsis

“You can keep the stores,” Darragh tells me when he brings her home. He thinks that is mercy. I am Fiona Cairn. For three years I have been his wife, his Luna, and the pair of hands that kept Greywater fed. Our bond was never completed. He never wanted me enough to finish it. Then he seats Ilona at my table. Pregnant. He calls her his Luna and tells me to move my things. He thinks I have no family, no name, no way out. He is wrong. My mother's seal is old. The Alpha King answers old seals. Darragh says I am still his. The Alpha King says I am not his to keep. At the Sun Court, I will sign my name. If Darragh tries to stop me, he will learn what a king's word costs.
